LSU Football Lands Another Defensive Tackle As Bo Davis Continues His Hot Streak

LSU Lands Four-Star Defensive Tackle

BATON ROUGE -- LSU football's 2023 recruiting class has added another key piece with the commitment of four-star defensive tackle. Davis is a 6-foot-5, 300-pounder from University Lab School in Baton Rouge. He is considered one of the top tackles in the country and is ranked as the No. 118 overall prospect in the 2023 class by 247Sports.

Davis chose LSU over offers from Alabama, Georgia, and Texas A&M. He is the third defensive tackle to commit to LSU in the 2023 class, joining Davison Igbinosum and Emery Jones.

Davis Key Addition For LSU's Defensive Line

Davis is a big, strong tackle with a lot of athleticism. He is a good pass rusher and can also stop the run. He is a great addition to LSU's defensive line, which is already one of the best in the country.

With Davis in the fold, LSU now has four tackles in its 2023 recruiting class. All four are considered to be four-star prospects. This is a great sign for the future of LSU's defense.

LSU Football continues to impress

LSU football hasn't lost any of its momentum since Brian Kelly took over as head coach. The Tigers have been among the most active among programs in the transfer portal and they have also done a great job of recruiting. LSU has a top 10 recruiting class for the next cycle and now the program has landed an elite pass rusher in the transfer portal.

The Tigers have not won an SEC Championship since the 2019 season, but they appear to be headed in the right direction. With so much talent on the roster and with Kelly leading the way, LSU could be a contender in the SEC West next season.
