Sources indicate that the Heat are still interested in DeRozan, who is one of the best remaining free agents on the market. However, the Heat are currently over the salary cap and would need to trade a player earning a substantial salary to make room for DeRozan.

The Heat also do not have any significant tradeable assets that would likely entice the Bulls to part ways with DeRozan, who is coming off a strong season in Chicago.

As a result, it appears unlikely that the Heat will be able to acquire DeRozan via trade at this time.
