Berlin native and former professional footballer Kevin-Prince Boateng has announced that he will retire from playing at the end of the 2022-23 season. The 37-year-old midfielder and forward, who made his Bundesliga debut with Hertha Berlin in 2006, confirmed the news during a press conference.
Boateng expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to return to his hometown club and retire where his professional journey began.
