FC Barcelona Stuns PSG in First Leg of Champions League Quarterfinal

Blaugranas Overcome Early Deficit to Take Advantage

UEFA Champions League Quarterfinals: FC Barcelona vs. PSG

In a thrilling first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals, FC Barcelona fought back from an early deficit to defeat Paris Saint-Germain 3-2 at the Camp Nou on Tuesday.

The visitors took the lead in the 32nd minute through star striker Kylian Mbappé, who capitalized on a mistake by Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo. Just four minutes later, Neymar doubled PSG's advantage with a clinical finish from the spot.

However, Barcelona responded with a stunning comeback. In the 36th minute, teenage sensation Pablo Gavira Viñas, also known as Gavi, broke through the PSG defense with a superb pass to Ousmane Dembélé, who reduced the deficit with a well-taken goal.

The Blaugranas continued their momentum in the second half and equalized through Lionel Messi in the 61st minute. The Argentine maestro converted a penalty after being brought down in the area by PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Barcelona completed the comeback in the 77th minute, with substitute Frenkie de Jong heading in the winning goal from close range after a corner from Dembélé. The Dutch midfielder's goal gave the Catalans a crucial advantage heading into the second leg.
